A vintage movie poster of ''Somebody Up There Likes Me'', a 1956 American drama film directed by Robert Wise. The film is based on the autobiography of the same name by former middleweight boxing champion Rocky Graziano. It tells the true story of Graziano's troubled youth, his transformation into a successful boxer, and his redemption.
Paul Newman stars as Rocky Graziano, delivering a powerful and memorable performance in one of his early leading roles. The film follows Rocky's journey from a troubled and delinquent youth in the slums of New York City to his eventual rise as a world champion boxer. Along the way, he faces numerous challenges, including run-ins with the law, time in juvenile detention, and a stint in the army. However, it's his talent and determination in the boxing ring that ultimately lead to his success and redemption.
